When to hunt Ostrich?
Ostrich can be hunted year round in South Africa. In Namibia, the hunting season opens on 1 February and closes on 30 November each year. In Tanzania the season is from July to December and in Ethiopia from October until June the following year. Being more of a trophy of opportunity it can be hunted anytime of the day or year. However, just for comfort sake it is normally best hunted in the cooler winter months when the temperatures are more bearable.
