- We are a family owned and operated business. John grew up as an avid hunter and outdoors-man ever since he could walk (or run). Around early 2000, he started hunting in Texas and fell in love with the rugged and diverse terrain. Eventually he and his family moved to Texas and created RRVO, turning a passionate hobby into a livelihood.

This is a challenging hunt where it requires walking long distances and crossing fences while carrying equipment to specified hunting areas (spot & stalk or comfortable blinds). Hunting hours dependent upon current weather conditions. We provide thermal scopes, rifles and ammunition but you're more than welcome to bring your own equipment. Limit 5 hogs per day (only 1 hog per day/hunter will be dressed & quartered upon request). We can also refer local meat processors. Hunt includes lodging, linens, food, guides & transportation to the hunt site. No hidden costs. **Please note that hunters arrive after 5 pm (no dinner provided) on the day of the hunt & depart by 11 am the following day after last hunt.** Spring hog hunt dates: Jan. 9- Mar. 19 Minimum of 2 hunters & maximum of 3 hunters per booking. Excellent hunting experience
Exciting Hunt
The hunting is very exciting and unique. We were able to get up and close to the hogs and then after the first shot it was chaos and fun and lots of shooting. But what I want to give them most credit for is helping my legally blind friend. He has enough sight to see and shoot with a scope. They assisted him out on the stalks and got him set up and where he could see the hogs we were shooting at. He had the time of his life. Thanks for making this happen for him.
The communication could improve. Sometimes we had no clue what was going on.
Excellent hunting experience
Johnny is extremely passionate about his operation and the management of the wildlife. He and Allen work hard year round to provide the best opportunity for success.
