- When two like minded individuals with similar ambitious ideas cross paths, it is only inevitable that something great should come from it. Combining their passions for the outdoors, people and hunting, Michael and Dempsey have formed a company that focuses not only on the hunt, but also the experience given to each client. Many years down the road we continue to proudly deliver that excellent service time and time again.
- With access to some of South Africa's top hunting areas we have been able to deliver unmatched trophy quality year in and year out. If not being guided by Michael or Dempsey, we have world class guides that have been carefully selected and vetted by us to ensure that you, the client, have the best possible experience and also ensure a successful and memorable safari.
- Due to our rich German hunting heritage which stems from Michael’s ties to Germany we have enjoyed a hugely eclectic group of clients from around the world. If you can name a hunting nation, the likelihood is that we have guided someone from there! Typically we attend a number of hunting trade shows from January to February every year and it's always a pleasure to meet up with old and prospective clients alike.

Good Day, BYH community, We cannot believe the 2024 season is nearly over already - it seemed to fly by in a flash! We hope everyone is doing well and enjoying reminiscing about all the wonderful adventures you hopefully embarked on this year. If not then hopefully you are busy planning your next one! We had a wonderful season seeing old clients again and new clients for the first time! We have been lucky enough to have hunted some truly fantastic Roan over the years. In 2019 we were lucky enough to take 3 bulls over 27 1/2 inches with the biggest one being 29 1/2! 2020 was obviously a break year for most of us however that just meant bigger Roan in 2021! And that was luckily the case as we hosted a new client and friend and managed to guide him onto a monster Roan bull of 30 3/4 inches! So there are definitely some great genetics in our areas, and one can only imagine what's out there with only one bull being hunted in the 2021 and 2022 season's respectively. If you are looking for some seriously high quality hunting to mix in with your Roan hunt please feel free to contact us as we would love to hear from you and help get you one step closer to getting your dream Roan. We offer the passionate hunter a true African experience! The multiple camps and lodges we have on our exclusive concessions vary from luxury tented camps to beautiful 5 star lodges. Depending on your needs, our accommodations are able to meet all requirements. From those wanting a more rustic bush experience to those that prefer a few more creature comforts during their trip - we have it all. All members of the family will be able to relax and unwind in our exclusive areas and you can rest assured when deciding to bring your spouse along that she will be more than pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. After a hard day's hunting at any of our lodges, guests can always look forward to a traditional South African campfire whilst exchanging stories under the African nights skies.

- Unfortunately with the amount of predators, diseases and the ease of infection, any game that is wounded, has to be paid in full according to the price list or package. But rest assured, we have some amazing trackers and great PH's that will try their utmost to find any wounded game even after you have left. Shot placement is key, if you listen to your PH, and hit them in the right spot, they won’t go far.

Unbelievably and unforgettably
Absolutely professional Michael’s team. His own PH level is off the scale. Trophies are just unreal. If you are looking for a real Africa and a real honest hunting, then you are here The movement of a herd of buffaloes somewhere nearby in the bush, an eye-to-eye look at a distance of less than 20 meters, PH luring the buffalo even closer and an arrow flying to an incredible trophy… This is something I’ll never forget. Thank you guys, thank you Michael, thank you Africa!

Best outfitter I've used. 8 safaris in total, of which 2 with Bayly Sippel, next will be with them too.
Instantly understand their client's needs and preferences and taylor the safari accordingly. Enthusiastic, excellent tracking, lodging, skinning, easy-going and hard-working. I highly recommend.

Couldn’t be better
Extremely knowledgable PHs and excellent trackers. Hosting and accommodation is second to none. I have hunted with the guys on more than one occasion and usually have another hunt planned at all times !
