- We provide a premier New Zealand hunting experience! We have access to some of New Zealand’s best trophy hunting terrain and a world class hunting guide to help you explore the country.
- We call it an ‘experience’ because there’s so much more to it than just a hunting trip, your adventure will include good old Kiwi family hospitality and an endless list of non-hunting activities. This is all made possible due to our location in Lake Hawea, only a short drive from the popular Lake Wanaka Resort and Queenstown, the bustling adventure capital of NZ.
- Barry Dodds (Doddsy) has been hunting all of his life; he’s been a professional guide around the region for years and has also hunted throughout Australia and South Africa - so he knows a thing or two about stalking trophy animals.
- Tony Dodds (Son, also known as Doddsy) has grown up hunting with his dad since he could walk. Tony loves to be out in the mountains camping out and stalking some of New Zealand's best animals on offer.
- To experience New Zealand hunting at its best, get in contact with Doddsy. He can take you on the trip of a life time, stalking the internationally famous red stag, or his favourite hunting prey – the Tahr. Both are in abundance right on the doorstep of his Hawea homestead.

The package includes 4 nights / 3 hunting days a free range red stag between 10-18 points (30-45 inches long) Everything is included from pick up from the airport, food, accomodation, all drinks, rifle hire and ammunition. We put pride on value in this type of hunt as is can be difficult, but a true wild hunt. This is a family run business with both Barry and son Tony taking the guiding. Both are well seasoned and fully certified professional hunters. We pride ourselves on having that 1:1 guided hunt to make it as exceptional as you have dreamed. From Queenstown airport it is a 3 hour drive into the hunting cabin, however there is also an option to helicopter in from the airport at an extra cost. We design hunting experiences to suit hunters of all ability levels and preferences. I can work with you to design a tailored package that delivers your ultimate hunting adventure.

Hunting cabin
One of our hunting cabins is nestled up on top of our hunting grounds overlooking a lake. It is used if we are hunting multiple animals out there, or you as the client want more of a "Hunting feel".

- You can transfer the hunt over to another year. If you decide to cancel, this needs to be done over 5 months before your hunt. This allows us to fill your spot back up
