We pride ourselves on our ethical hunting practices. This means that our hunting is a fair chase, sustainable and designed to expose the hunter to the full scope of the diversity of our hunting preserve and surrounding concessions. By declaring that we are a fair chase hunting outfit, we commit ourselves to using hunting practices that pit the hunter’s skills against those of the game being hunted. We spend many hours walking and stalking, being sure never to shoot from the vehicles. This practice has resulted in our animals having very little fear of vehicle noise, thereby enhancing the tourism aspect of the game-viewing experience. Our hunting areas are fenced – as required by law in South Africa. This does not, however, make your hunt any easier, as these areas are vast and, once a spooked animal disappears in the bushveld, it’s ‘hunt on!’

Spotted Hyena hunting is one of the most Specialized hunts in Africa with limited tags available each year . Hyena hunting is hunting at night and shooting over bait, and the night life could be challenging with other nocturnal visitor that show the same interest. We keep all our bait sites running through out the year to guarantee the collection of your trophy Hyena.

Private Hunting Camp
The Lodge has recently been renovated to cater for all the needs of all our guests. The Property is totally off the grid with all the necessary luxuries required to make your visit as comfortable as possible and just as memorable. The Lodge has 5 on-suite bedrooms with air conditioners for the hot summer months and one kids room with two single beds. Each room has an ensuite bathroom with separate toilet and shower. 4 of the rooms have X-large King beds and one room has two singles all having air conditioners for the summer months. The Lodge is upmarket and includes a bar, lounge separate Tv entertainment area and a swimming pool with outside firepit with extraordinary views.

- into account such factors as the availability of the desired dates and species. If Tangata Safaris deems it possible to reschedule
- my Safari I understand that there will be 20% (of the deposit amount) “rescheduling fee” payable by You to Tangata Safaris in
