Typically we attend a number of hunting trade shows from January to February every year and it's always a pleasure to meet up with old and prospective clients alike.

Good day BYH community! Once you've hunted a cape buffalo you'll realize why its such an addictive hunt! If you could bottle the feeling of your first buffalo and sell it you'd most definitely be a wealthy man! That being said its not always financially feasible to hunt bulls, that is why the Buffalo Cow Hunt is such an attractive option. We believe we have one of the finest Buffalo cow hunts on offer in South Africa for 2023 and enjoyed some absolutely fantastic buff hunts there in 2022 taking 3x bulls and 3x cows with our clients. The hunting area is absolutely massive (in excess of 44,000 acres!!) and we will be hunting large self sustaining herds. This hunting is as fair chase as it comes and the fitness levels required are high. The hunt will take place on a 44,500-acre reserve with rolling hills, flat land areas and mountains. We will be hunting old Buff cows the proper way, on foot and with no size limit. In terms of trophy selection there is no size limit and we will focus primarily on age. The hunting will be hard and honest and any buffalo hunted here will have been hard earned. This is hard hunting on foot by taking the freshest tracks from the day before. The days are long with them consisting mainly of with checking roads and checking waterholes for likely tracks and of course - hunting. A high level of fitness is required for this hunt as you can easily cover up to 15km on days with lots of walking, and on some days a quick break from the tracks and a bush lunch will be the order of the day.

But rest assured, we have some amazing trackers and great PH's that will try their utmost to find any wounded game even after you have left. Shot placement is key, if you listen to your PH, and hit them in the right spot, they won’t go far.

Excellent hunting experience
Unbelievably and unforgettably
Absolutely professional Michael’s team. His own PH level is off the scale. Trophies are just unreal. If you are looking for a real Africa and a real honest hunting, then you are here The movement of a herd of buffaloes somewhere nearby in the bush, an eye-to-eye look at a distance of less than 20 meters, PH luring the buffalo even closer and an arrow flying to an incredible trophy… This is something I’ll never forget. Thank you guys, thank you Michael, thank you Africa!
Time has passed too quickly
Best outfitter I've used. 8 safaris in total, of which 2 with Bayly Sippel, next will be with them too.
Instantly understand their client's needs and preferences and taylor the safari accordingly. Enthusiastic, excellent tracking, lodging, skinning, easy-going and hard-working. I highly recommend.
