Our elk hunt is during the start of the rut in the bow season on a mix of government and privately owned land in the foothills of northern Alberta. We hunt from our ranch with hunters staying in our comfortable lodge. We take a max of 4 hunters per week and the guiding is done 2 on 1. All meals at the lodge are provided. During the hunt we will spend the mornings walking and calling for elk, at noon we head back for lunch at the lodge and then during the evening hunt we may sit over a water hole or wallow or watch a field where the elk may come out to eat. The size of elk we will be looking for is between 250 and 350 pt. 5×5 and 6×6. It is an exciting time to hear the elk bugling and to call them into range. this is one of the few areas where we can hunt elk in the rut with rifles. We also will hunt elk the end of October when they come out onto the grain, and alfalfa fields. This is a six-day hunt . The licence fee is 400 and covers 1 licence and a Wolf Tag,and is added to the cost of the hunt. All hunters will receive a contract with the pricing and terms.

we took 7 elk hunters in 2024 and killed 5 elk with one missed shot. and one hunter did not see the bull he was looking for.
