Bushbuck, a small to medium-sized antelope is widely spread across Africa and takes its name from its preferred habitat. There is great morphological variance within populations and even interbreeding takes place between the various subspecies.
Harnessed Bushbuck was the First of the Bushbuck to be described in 1766. The Harnessed Bushbuck is named after the white harness-like stripes that run along their flanks.
Harnessed Bushbuck are listed as a species of least concern by the IUCN.
