Since 2018, we boast a 95% opportunity rate, 85% kill rate, and 80% of our clients return within 2 years. Come experience the best South Dakota has to offer.
About this hunt
A true American trophy, the American Bison, or Buffalo, is one of the largest and most majestic big game animals available for harvest in the lower 48. This rough country pasture spanning around 4000 acres offers a challenging and fun hunt. Hunters will stay and eat with a young hard-working South Dakota ranch family for two nights while they explore and hunt this beautiful and rugged country. There is a rifle range on property to zero your rifle upon arrival. Lean farm to table bison meat, hide and horns will be the spoils in addition to the amazing memories that can be made on a hunt of this caliber. We will field dress and transport your critter to the processor. Processing will cost $1.50 per pound of hanging weight (aprox. 55% of weight) and will require a $250 deposit. Our taxidermist will pick up your hide and horns from there. There are many taxidermy options for you which our top-notch Taxidermist will go through with you. A meat bull is 3.5 to 4.5 years old and weighs around 1000 pounds. You can expect 300-350 lbs of meat to include steaks and roasts. We have a limited number of trophy bulls available each season. The cost to hunt a trophy bull is $8500.A trophy bull is 8+ years old and weighs around 2000 pounds on the hoof. You can expect 400-500 pounds of meat from a trophy bull but we would recommend you take mostly grind and trim from these cagey old animals. For a quality cape, we recommend hunting December through February.

Excellent outfitter and guide!
Excellent communication. Guide was excellent, knowledgeable and new how to hunt mule deer for sure! They will work very hard for you to get your game.
Fair accommodations. Due to the remoteness, it was a little tricky to get to processing and taxidermy, but alls well that ends well. I was on 13,000 acres of private land, so not hard to understand.
