About this hunt
Special 9 Day Moose Rut Hunt - $8750 US All-In includes Hunt, License, Tag, Taxes and Fees We practice fair chase, spot and stalk hunting and we adapt each hunt to the abilities of the hunter. With over 40 years of experience in the same territory, I and my guides will hunt hard and do our darndest to get you a chance at your bull! This is a Rut Hunt and we specialize in calling the Bulls. We have a range of techniques and tricks to bring them in. With which we've had great success over the years. We concentrate our hunting in moose habitat and corridor areas, sometimes driving to these areas, close to logging roads and cuts. Once in these areas, we will then call and still hunt or spot and stalk. We also access moose habitat and corridors by watercraft. Most Bulls harvested are from 30 to over 50 inches. Expect to see Moose, hear them or see fresh sign, every day. We have some of the densest Moose populations in BC. Black Bear are active into the beginning of October and can be added to your hunt. Our Hunt Camp is a comfortable lakeside lodge with private cabins, rustic, gourmet meals and fishing at the front door. We welcome non-hunting companions. With prior arrangement, they can at times join the hunt. Hunters and non-hunters are free to use our boats, canoes, kayaks and safety equipment for fishing or other outdoor activities.

Our base camp is on a 5 mile long lake. Rustic comfort and a lake full of wild native Rainbow Trout makes the Lodge a great place to bring along family members or other non-hunting companions. Each private guest cabins has electric lights, shower and airtight wood stove. We gather at the Main Lodge for rustic, gourmet meals that will have you asking for the recipe. We have an electric generator in camp, so charging batteries for your electronics is no problem. We also have Radio Telephone and a Sat Phone at the Lodge but your office doesn't have to know that.

Excellent outfitter and guides
Signed up for a 9 day Moose hunt at the beginning of September. Weather turned out to be unseasonably warm, so rut was not going as strong as we had hoped. Hunt camp is located on a beautiful island in a large lake and offers comfortable accommodations (even a hot shower!) and plenty of delicious food. Frank, Jill and Mike did everything possible to get us a moose and make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. They were very accommodating to all of our needs and provided everything we needed. They were very professional in all correspondence and replied to all questions immediately. They were very concerned with everyone's safety and encouraged the perfect balance of gun safety and fair game hunting. Highly recommend this outfitter for Moose or Bear hunting.
