About this hunt
During the rut our experienced guides bring you deep into the jungles of Moose country in the heart of Northern Alberta. You can expect to see every type of geography from the logged sections of oil-patch road, to the swampy low-grounds, the natural mineral licks, and the large open timber. Our guides are knowledgeable about the specifically targeted areas and take pride in our mastering of the skill of calling big rutting Bulls! The rut takes place from mid-September to mid-October. During your 6-day adventure, you will be fully accommodated in our comfortable wall-tent camp located deep in the hunting area. A remote camp is essential to minimize on daily travel time and maximize opportunity of catching up with your dream animal! Our guides will transport you and your fellow hunters throughout the hunting area by pick-up truck and often on ATV. The Moose rut is one of the most exciting and adrenaline infused hunts you will ever have, short of dangerous-game. As Moose go into rut they become a more vocal animal, the cows enter heat, the bulls become very territorial and respond to our calls with high aggression or defensive curiosity. Bulls can appear out of the thick brush sometimes only several yards away! Allow us the pleasure of making your dream Moose hunt exceed your expectations!

In addition to a well-kept comfortable wall-tent camp, 3 great home cooked meals or 2 meals and a bagged lunch will be prepared for you. No one goes hungry in our camp! Hunters will be transported in clean full-size pickups and we guarantee to do everything in our power to make your experience one you’ll never forget!

Moose Down!
I am so very happy with this hunt. I had never done a guided hunt before and never hunted moose but this was spectacular. I just had an amazing time Ryan was awesome Erik and his wife were the best. The country was beautiful if not a little eerie in it's snow covered desolation. Hands down one of the greatest experiences of my life!
