About this hunt
Dona Paula is a premier hunting lodge offering an exceptional mixed bag hunting experience, specializing in perdiz hunting with expertly trained pointer dogs, high-volume dove shooting, and opportunities for duck hunting. Guests enjoy personalized service from dedicated staff, ensuring a welcoming and memorable stay. Conveniently located just over an hour from Montevideo International Airport, Dona Paula is set in Uruguay's perdiz capital with seemingly endless pastures and grasslands. The flat perdiz fields are water-free for easy access. Perdiz hunts are conducted with top-notch Brittannys trained for perdiz shooting in Uruguay, as well as pack of English pointers recently imported from Europe. This area is also home for several large dove roosts, offering high-volume shooting with the chance to fire over 1000 shells. Birdboys assist hunters with shells, refreshments, and spotting incoming birds. The lodge has gone meticulous renovations to maintain its colonial charm while providing modern comforts, featuring spacious living areas, six well-appointed bedrooms, and common areas perfect for socializing after a day of hunting. Exceptional in all regards
Absolutely spectacular from start to finish. Our recent dove hunt with Florencia and her family was nothing short of exceptional. The hunting was world-class—limitless action, perfectly organized fields, and expert guides who made the experience both exciting and effortless. The food was phenomenal—each meal a showcase of local flavors that hit the spot after a long day in the field. The accommodations were great too. But what truly set this experience apart was the hospitality. Florencia and her family welcomed us like old friends, going above and beyond.
