About this hunt
After almost 9 years of prohibition, the hunt for the European brown bear has been re-open in Romanian ! From October to December 2024 and spring time we offer European brown bear hunts . The hunting quota is : 426 bears for 2024 and 426 bears for 2025. As a general rule only the bears until 400 CIC can be hunt . Over this score the bear trophies are not exportable . In the CIC system the gold medal start at 300 CIC . Regarding the o CITES-export document , it is issued by the authorities . The hunting methods are : Individual hunting : stalking & waiting on the spots from a high seat . In the morning the bears can be stalked and in the evening can be shot on high seat hunt . Expectation : bear until 420 CIC . Success rate is 99.99 on this category of bear in 3 hunting days . In most of the cases the bears are shot in the first evening . I. 3 hunting days with 4 days of full accommodation + 1 brown bear up to 420 CIC * 4 nights in 3 ***hotel-single room or hunting house, with three meals a day and soft drinks. * 3 days complete hunting organization including : -Romanian hunting permit, rifle import or hire formalities -Field preparation of the trophy (skinning & salting, boiling and blanking the skull) -Trophy evaluation and documentation -Car usage on the hunting location and transfer between hotel and hunting areas -Preparation of the field -1 brown bear up to 420 CIC Not included *Airport transfer to/back *CITES -150 Euro /bear *Shipping , crates or box & all the export formalities (declarations & vet certificates). *alcoholic drinks * rifle 50 Eu/day/hunter with ammo included . * tips and other personal expenses . Trophy Carpathian Chamois
John strives hard to make sure you’re satisfied in everything he provides. The knowledge of the game, the area, history and many other things pits him above many outfitters. I’ve hunted in many many countries and have harvested approaching 200 animals outside the USA and John is among the best.

Great Experience
Ioan and Andrew were great guides and hosts. They provided an amazing hunting experience. They shared the beautiful culture, cuisine and landscapes of our hunting area. I was able to learn about the game and wildlife in the area while on the hunt. They worked hard to provide a great hunting experience and get me a great Roe Buck harvest. I recommend this hunt to everyone.

Bucket list hunting
The hunting area is absolutely recommended to those who like the challanges. Deep gorges and high peaks must be climbed in dense forest all day. It is the land of the really big bucks. The outfitter & the professional hunters really know what they're doing. Highly recommended to stay in their private hunting lodge. It is a simpe but very clean and well equipped house in a little nice walley. Don't forget to try their excellent cuisine.
