Prices Do Not include QST & GST taxes, Hunting or fishing licenses or gratuities. Black bear hunting at Blue Walleye Outpost at Lac Achepabanca Quebec is incredible! Our outpost is tucked away in the corner of the vast untamed Canadian wilderness. A network of hundreds of miles of old logging roads has been transformed into a unique, productive hunting territory. We offer a semi guided hunting experience fresh bait and lure, game retrieval and skinning. Our guides share the enjoyment of your hunt and will try to place you on sites that produce trophy size bears. Our guides have many years of experience successfully hunting black bears and guiding successful hunters out of Blue Walleye Outpost. Our guides are very knowledgeable about black bears and their habits. They hunt many species throughout North America, but in May and June they focus on the black bears that roam the boreal forest of Abitibi-Temiscamingue. Our guides pay special attention to the skills and needs of each hunter to adapt every bait site to the hunter's specific needs. We offer ground blinds or tree stands, sites are baited daily with fresh bait and lure. We are the only outfitter in the area so there is no competition from other hunters

Our 3 guest cabins, each can accommodate 4 to 8 people comfortably. Some cabins have 2 separate rooms with bunk beds, propane stove, refrigerator, running water (not for drinking), washrooms with flush toilets, and a wood stove, plates, cooking and eating utensils, each cabin has an outdoor propane BBQ grill, screened in porch and a view of the lake. We have a central showers house with hot water on demand Solar power with a generator for back up. You will need to bring a sleeping bag, pillow, towels, wash cloths, dish cloths, dish soap, toilet paper, rain gear, warm clothing, toiletries, lantern, insect repellant, water, food, and beverages. We have some Life jackets but it’s wise to bring your own, most of all don’t forget your hunting and fishing gear. We have a satellite phone available for emergencies or if you wish to stay connected. After your adventure we can assist with bear skinning, fish filleting, and vacuum packing for your trip home.
