About this hunt

LEOPARD SAFARI PACKAGE The hunting area is a particularly scenically area and the terrain ranges from grassy valleys to rolling rocky hills and ridges. The hilly landscape provides excellent and exciting hunting opportunities, as well as ample cover for the many species of wildlife. We are ideally located for Kudu and are in the original home area for Hartebeest as well as Oryx antelope. Individual hunts can be tailor-made to specific requests. The specific hunting practices can be individually requested and are determined by the fitness level of the individual hunter. The game is normally tracked down in open all-terrain vehicles and then stalked on foot. Shooting is normally from a tripod and with an average distance of approx. 120 m. leopard will be hunted over bait from a blind. THE HUNT INCLUDES MINIMUM HUNT DURATION: 12 hunting days minimum & 13 nights. With the day of arrival and departure, this safari requires a total of 14 days. ADDITIONAL DAYS: We highly recommend an additional 2 hunting days. HUNTERS: 1 Hunter x 1 Professional Hunter TROPHY FEE: 1 x Leopard. If you don't get the leopard - no trophy fee will be charged. OBSERVER & REST DAYS: $160 per person per day. Rates at the time of the hunt will apply.

Great hunt!

The number & quality of animals you will see everyday on this hunt is incredible. Mr Denk knows this property extremely well. I asked numerous questions of the plants & animals we encountered & he took the time to answer every question. His ability to predict where a group of animals is headed & how to intercept them, is uncanny. Meals are delicious and will include animals taken on the ranch. Mrs Iris is a great cook. Nice, spacious rooms.

My only regret is that I did not have more days to hunt.

Family feeling. Iris and Hans went out of their way to make you fell comfortable. You became one of the family

Shot a leopard at the first sitting in spite of difficult circumstances--we had a thunderstorm just before (by the way, I do know something about leopard hunting. it was my six leopard). They really knew what they were doing. I also shot two Hartman zebra and a hartebeest. Hans and his son were great stalkers. Also, his son had the eyes of a hawk what also helped. There were lots of hartebeest zebra, warthog, kudu, waterbuck, giraffe, and impala.

Not many jackals...The son had taken care of them...
