About this hunt
This opportunity is for a 5-day SPRING HUNT. Arrive Sunday, hunt Monday to Friday. Specifically for the week of May 12 - 16, 2025. Our remote hunting territory has very little local hunting pressure and we have exclusive outfitting rights. The large 350,000 acres in the boreal forest allows us to manage the hunted sites to ensure continuous success. We have a very healthy black bear population with a great opportunity to harvest a bruin. There are over 40 bait sites most of which are well established and have been active for over 30 years. We keep our camp small and personalized to provide you with attention and service. Tree stands and ground blinds are placed strategically for the best archery or rifle shots. - unprecedented 35% color phase (black, blond, chocolate and cinnamon, with white chevron patches) Rifle hunters must wear scarlet, bright yellow, blaze orange or white jacket or vest and headwear. Archery, muzzleloader and crossbow hunters may wear full camo. A full description of required gear can be found on our website. Even though we are in a remote location you are able to drive directly to our camp, either through Manitoba (via Winnipeg) or through Saskatchewan. If you are flying, it is most convenient to fly into Saskatoon and rent a vehicle for your 420 KM drive to camp. Guests arrive on the Sunday before hunting on Monday to Friday and leave Saturday morning. You may show up as a client but you soon are treated like friends and family.

Great hunt
Dale & Rose Marie were excellent - they know what they are doing and they are super nice. Their guides were very good and worked well together & with hunters. We were in a very remote part of Saskatchewan but they had generators for freezers, electric in cabins, and hot water in shower house. They have a lot of bears in their hunting area. Food was great. It was very enjoyable and I will definitely be back.
Nothing that I didn't like
Chocolate bear
This is a remote bear camp, little cell service, no distractions, which made for an extremely relaxing and enjoyable hunt. I plan to go back s as it was possibly the best guided hunt I’ve been on. Dale, Rose Marie and their sons provided great conversation and a trip I want to do again. Can’t say enough good things about this crew! 350,000 acres of hunting area!
Nothing
Rex Johnson September, 2023
Dale and Rose Marie were great throughout our stay. We felt like long-time friends after the first day in camp. The food was outstanding home-cooked meals. Sleeping accommodations were plain but comfortable. The baits were well maintained and monitored and we were all on active baits. Dale was able to put us each on a bait with the type of bear we were looking for - average, big or colored. I intended to sit the week waiting for a very big bear but the first evening one came in that I couldn't pass up. I'm already rebooked for spring looking for a colored bear.
Not a thing!
