Our company was established in 2015 and operates in 2 territories.
- When two like minded individuals with similar ambitious ideas cross paths, it is only inevitable that something great should come from it. Combining their passions for the outdoors, people and hunting, Michael and Dempsey have formed a company that focuses not only on the hunt, but also the experience given to each client. Many years down the road we continue to proudly deliver that excellent service time and time again.
- With access to some of South Africa's top hunting areas we have been able to deliver unmatched trophy quality year in and year out. If not being guided by Michael or Dempsey, we have world class guides that have been carefully selected and vetted by us to ensure that you, the client, have the best possible experience and also ensure a successful and memorable safari.
- Due to our rich German hunting heritage which stems from Michael’s ties to Germany we have enjoyed a hugely eclectic group of clients from around the world. If you can name a hunting nation, the likelihood is that we have guided someone from there! Typically we attend a number of hunting trade shows from January to February every year and it's always a pleasure to meet up with old and prospective clients alike.

About this hunt
Good Day, BYH community, We are happy to offer you all a Hippo hunting package for 2025. Prices for Hippo in South Africa are a bit higher than some other areas in Africa but where one does save on costs is in the travel. This is a fantastic hunt and one we thoroughly enjoy doing with our clients. We were privileged enough to hunt 6 Hippo in the 2024 season and each one was a fantastic experience. It is always a very exciting hunt to take on a member of the dangerous 7 and the reward is undoubtedly the greatest euro mount one can have in their trophy room. HUNT DURATION: 5 hunting days & 6 nights. With the day of arrival and departure, this safari requires a total of 7 days. HUNTERS: 1 x Hunter and 1 x Professional Hunter. Other hunters and observers are welcome. TROPHIES: 1 x Hippo ADDITIONAL DAYS/ANIMALS: May be added to the package as per the price list. NO HIDDEN COSTS We reserve the right to change any terms, conditions and prices without notice. Rates at the time of the hunt will apply. Prices are subject to foreign currency fluctuations between the time of the quotation and the hunting date.

Depending on your needs, our accommodations are able to meet all requirements. From those wanting a more rustic bush experience to those that prefer a few more creature comforts during their trip - we have it all. All members of the family will be able to relax and unwind in our exclusive areas and you can rest assured when deciding to bring your spouse along that she will be more than pleasantly surprised with the accommodations. After a hard day's hunting at any of our lodges, guests can always look forward to a traditional South African campfire whilst exchanging stories under the African nights skies.

Wounding
- Unfortunately with the amount of predators, diseases and the ease of infection, any game that is wounded, has to be paid in full according to the price list or package. But rest assured, we have some amazing trackers and great PH's that will try their utmost to find any wounded game even after you have left. Shot placement is key, if you listen to your PH, and hit them in the right spot, they won’t go far.

Unbelievably and unforgettably
Absolutely professional Michael’s team. His own PH level is off the scale. Trophies are just unreal. If you are looking for a real Africa and a real honest hunting, then you are here The movement of a herd of buffaloes somewhere nearby in the bush, an eye-to-eye look at a distance of less than 20 meters, PH luring the buffalo even closer and an arrow flying to an incredible trophy… This is something I’ll never forget. Thank you guys, thank you Michael, thank you Africa!

Extremely knowledgable PHs and excellent trackers. Hosting and accommodation is second to none. I have hunted with the guys on more than one occasion and usually have another hunt planned at all times !
