My husband and I have been outfitting all our adult lives and are always in camp with our hunters, we are also blessed with the crew we have, they have been with us for years, know the area, and are excellent Guides!

About this hunt
Come to Idaho and hunt one of the most challenging and allusive predators in the world!! Our Area is prime for hunting wolves as we have a lot of area that is in the Elk& Deer’s winter range. We do these hunts December through March. On this hunt you will have your own cabin and meals are served at the main house. The wolves are very active seeking prey and the snow makes it easy to spot and track fresh sign, the wolves also have beautiful pelts in the winter as they are at there fullest. On these hunts we use 4 wheel drive vehicles to get to prime hunting and glassing areas, it’s not uncommon to hear the wolves howling right from your cabin! There is also a option to spike out ( trail conditions Depending) on these hunts as we have our wall tent camp set up along the South Fork of the Salmon River. You can choose to to buy more than one wolf tag. On these hunts it is important to be in good physical shape as being able to hike & or Snowshoe is a must, we do a lot of glassing and calls may be used sign and activity depending. It is important to be a good marksman on this hunt as 350 to 500 yard shots are not uncommon!

Outfitter Tom & Sara were nice to work with & the guides worked hard & took us all over trying to get us on bears. Meals from Sara were delicious & our cabin stay was comfortable too. I’d recommend them to anyone 😊
Although no fault of the outfitter/guides, there was an unusual amount of early Spring snow that seemed to hinder the bears coming out of hibernation.
