About this hunt
A sunrise to sunset adventure! Many avid hunters love our high sierra Coues Deer due to their survival in rugged terrain. This high-altitude environment makes it the most challenging of all the whitetail subspecies. We offer a week-long experience on private land and guarantee the chance to harvest world-class trophies. Our hunts are usually guided on horseback and on foot. A typical day – spotting in the early morning and stalking in the afternoon while they are in the shade. At night we regroup at the lodge for drinks and dinner by the fireside. "Guides know the way of life of the Coues." • Hunter to guide ratio: 2x1 • Success rate: 14/16 • Season dates: 1 Dec 2024 – 31 January 2025 • We have accommodated disabled hunters. What do I need to book? Dates, group head count, and 50% deposit counting towards total cost.

Territory
Located deep in the Sierra Madre of Mexico, our properties offer a unique view of the Sonoran highlands. These native highlands are home to world class Coues deer and Goulds turkey hunting. Contact us now for availability. Extension, altitude, flora, and fauna: 30,000 acres with altitudes of 4,400 to 6,700 feet above sea level. Its extension has a great variety of flora and fauna species due to the altitude variation (~2,300 feet) throughout the terrain. Prominent water reserves from the Bavispe River cover the high sierra with natural water sources and mixed forests of pine-oak, manzanita, huata, acorn, and mesquite. Among the mammals, the squirrel, the skunk, various species of bats, coyote, armadillo, white-tail deer, weasel, wild boar, badger, and wildcat stand out. Although they are in danger of extinction, the puma/cougar, and the black bear. Bird variety includes gould's wild turkey, golden eagle, falcon, long-eared trogon, spotted owl and chara pinta.
