Where you will stay
Tented Camp
A few scents are as scintillating as the smell of a hardwood campfire, when arriving back at camp after sunset, rounding off a great day's hunt. Our bush camp is nestled among hardwood trees like Leadwood and Maroela. The camp is near a town called Thabazimbi, which means "Mountain of Iron", approximately three hours from O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. Accommodation in the form of 2 luxury tented rooms is offered. Each room has en suite bathrooms with separate toilet and shower. The camp, with its nostalgic African charm, includes a lapa and lounge. All that is missing is Hemingway and Selous. The camp is run by me and my family and you will experience warm-hearted African hospitality at its best. We serve traditional South African meals. Most of the meat we prepare is venison and promises to be delicious. When prearranged we cater for gluten intolerant and diabetic clients as well. Come and experience great African cuisine that will not disappoint.

Cancellation
- Deposits are non-refundable
- Dates booked and confirmed will be paid for in full
- Dates can, however, be moved once if there are available dates.
- Cancellation within 90 days not transferable
- We highly recommend taking out travel insurance.

Grand Experience!
The tent camp was like going back to a different time in Africa. Impalas “growling” their mating call at night in camp. We walked right out of the tent camp to hunt and almost immediately saw giraffes and a fine bushbuck.
Leopards there, but in South Africa you can’t hunt them!
