More about us
Our company was established in 1987 and operates in 1 territory.
- Our guides and other staff are highly qualified and extremely knowledgeable of the area. Our guides love what they do. We all feel we don’t work a day when we’re out in our area. It is a pleasure to show clients some of the most spectacular places this planet has to offer.
- Dogs play an important and historical role in hunting. Our European tracking dogs are some of the best in North America and they are available to assist if a shot is not quite perfect.

About this hunt
A trip on our remote Canadian trapline is an immersive journey into the heart of the wilderness. To the Trapline from Prince George, BC by 4x4 Pickups close to camp & the rest by snowmobile. The trip in itself is an adventure, offering stunning views. Our base is rustic wooden cabins equipped with the essentials—wood stove, kitchen, a trapper-shower and bunk beds. We will introduce you to the routines and the tasks ahead for the upcoming days. Using snowshoes, snowmobiles, you traverse the trails, checking traps and setting new ones. The trapline winds through dense boreal forest, down snowy roads and around secluded lakes. Look for signs—tracks, scat, or listen for wolves. You might spot martens, beavers, otters, lynx, coyotes, moose or wolves. If successful, you’ll learn to handle caught animals. Skinning and preparing pelts is a meticulous process and part of the trapper’s trade. Gather firewood, maintain tools, snowmobiles, and refine skills like shelter building, or ice fishing. The isolation immerses you in the rhythms of the wild. You can hear the howl of wolves at night, see the Northern Lights dancing, and witness wildlife in its natural habitat. Trudging through snow, chopping wood, and enduring sub-zero temperatures test your endurance and build resilience. Experienced trappers share stories of the land, insights into animal behaviour, and traditional methods passed down through generations. Culinary Adventures: Meals often include fish, verity of meats, or simple, hearty fare cooked over an open fire, wood or gas stove. After a long day: Share tales of the day’s adventures or listen to the history of the trapline. Read, write, or simply enjoy the crackle of the fire and the quiet of the wilderness. Challenges: Extreme cold some times, physical exertion, and the demands of living off-grid require adaptability and perseverance. Rewards: The sense of accomplishment, connection to nature, and insight into a traditional lifestyle are unparalleled.
