More about us
Our company was established in 1987 and operates in 1 territory.
- Our guides and other staff are highly qualified and extremely knowledgeable of the area. Our guides love what they do. We all feel we don’t work a day when we’re out in our area. It is a pleasure to show clients some of the most spectacular places this planet has to offer.
- Dogs play an important and historical role in hunting. Our European tracking dogs are some of the best in North America and they are available to assist if a shot is not quite perfect.
About this hunt
The trapping adventures take place between Dec. 01 and Feb. 15 out in the bush at sub 30 temperatures. Staying in the Babine Lake camp is quite different in the winter when everything is about four feet under snow. This camp is accessible by road from Prince George, British Columbia, Canada. After one night at the Hotel in Prince George we will pick you up and make the 5 to 6-hour journey to Babine Lake Camp. The high amount of snowfall also determines what animals are out and about in the winter. Here there are wolves, coyotes, fox, lynx, wolverine, martin, snowshoe hare, squirrels, and flying squirrels. The several bait sites on the trapline are patrolled by snowmobiles as traps need to be checked consistently. After a day out in the Canadian winter exploring the trapline come back to warm and cozy cabins to eat and relax. This camp like most of our camps has a nice hot shower setup. What is special about us: Since 2020 we have an indigenous youth apprenticeship program with 4 students from the lokal Takla Nation that our clients help make happen by booking with us.

Camps/Log Cabins/Lodges
Most camps are wood or log structures with cook and bunk cabins. They are fully equipped with wood stoves, propane lights and cook stoves, shower setups, beds, and foam mattresses. Some of these cabins are located on beautiful lakes. These camps are all outfitted with boats and motors, or canoes with paddles. Lifejackets and other safety gear is present. They are all a very comfortable base to go hunt out of and get back to after a long day in the field. Each camp has its own character and we would be happy to help you choose the one best for you.
