About this hunt
If you are looking for the hunt of a lifetime, and your wish is to hunt dangerous and plains game alike in their natural environment, then here is the destination of choice. You can pursue buffalo, elephant, hippo, crocodile, lion, leopard, kudu, chobe bushbuck, sharps grysbok, impala, duiker, reedbuck, hyena, warthog, baboon and bushpig – to name but a few. In this remote part of Mozambique, we offer hunting excursions from May to November, however some areas are too wet to hunt before June or July. Where you will hunt
Territory
The Lodge is situated on the northern bank of the Zambezi River, 15km downstream of Zumbo (the district capital of Tete Province). This area is also known as the Lower Zambezi Valley and runs into the Cahora Bassa Basin. This ruggedly beautiful countryside, combining extensive river frontage and rocky outcrops with tall trees and grass lands is where wildlife roams free. World renowned and indigenous to this area, the regal Baobab trees, are truly a sight to behold. On our western boundary we have 90 km of Luangwa River frontage and our southern boundary is the mighty Zambezi River. As one would expect, hippo and crocodile abound in the rivers especially the Zambezi. Elephant sightings are plentiful and can be seen drinking at the river as well as lion, leopard, buffalo and other plains game animals that inhabit the area.
