Here is your opportunity to get a hunt in at a camp that was mostly used as a private lodge for the past nine years! Located 110kms from the Deer Lake airport where we can drive into camp and can provide airport pickup/drop-off. You will be a guest with us for 6 nights and have 5 days of guided hunts in one of the most amazing places in eastern Canada with some of the highest moose density areas in Newfoundland. This hunt will have two hunters with one guide from our main lodge. You can select to have black bear added in to your hunt at the time of booking, or we also offer a trophy bear hunt after you tag out on your moose as an additional option.

Main Lodge
The cottage sleeps up to 10 guests, has 2 bathrooms, and a full sized kitchen. Your day will start at 5am with a prepared hot breakfast, and at 5:30am you will begin your hunt. A 30-minute boat ride leads you to Argos that will take you across thousands of acres of prime hunting territory. After a day of hunting, you will return back to the camp for 7pm for a prepared hot dinner. There are things to do within the camp to fill your evening such as card games and darts.

Best moose hunt of my life!! Got the biggest bull I ever shot
What I liked about this moose hunting experience was everything but mostly the terrain, high altitude area of Newfoundland where you can spot and glass for miles and see so much beautiful country. And also the style of hunting for my particular hunt we got in the boat early morning on the first day, drove 20 minutes down the lake to the Argo and drove over an hour up to the high country to do some calls and right away had this monster bull calling back that we successfully got 3 hours into the hunt. My dad and our 2 friends also all got each of there moose before the end of the 4th evening at northern lights adventures. There wasn’t a single day where we didn’t see a moose! Good food great guides and great people highly recommend!
