Unser Unternehmen wurde 1986 gegründet und betreibt 1 Revier.
We are not a game farm. In addition to our own land, we reserve hunting rights on over 7,000 acres, increasing our total hunting area to nearly 10,000 acres of farm and ranch land in central South Dakota. We dedicate our entire farming operation to pheasant habitat and food plots to ensure you have the hunt of a lifetime. Wild pheasant hunting is a way of life on the Authier Ranch.

We own or lease nearly 10,000 acres of mostly contiguous acreage, centered on Medicine Creek. Our farm/ranch is bounded by grassy uplands to the north and south, so given our substantial acreage and this positioning of the land, we are set up ideally for hatching, rearing, feeding and sheltering unusual pheasant populations. We have multiple lodges at our operations center, which is in the middle of our acreage. All hunters are lodged and fed on site. We offer half day hunts, all day hunts or multiple day hunts, and we provide guides and dogs. We have a trap shooting facility and sport shop on site. We clean and package your birds. We can also provide grouse hunting, as well as goose hunting and prairie dog hunting within an hour’s drive.

The Barn
The barn is our main lodging facility with five bedrooms, that sleeps up to 15 guests, on the ground level, each bedroom with their own bathroom. A bar and recreation area is on the second level. The barn also has a large deck on the South side with trap shooting capabilities. This addition to the hunting operation has provided greater flexibility in accommodating and entertaining hunting parties.

The Granary
In 2003, we converted the granary to a lodge with bedrooms, lounge, bar, and TV. This now adds additional flexibility in accommodating and entertaining hunting parties. The converted granary has five bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a loft with a bar and lounge area, keg, refrigerator, and flat-screen television with satellite connection. The granary sleeps up to 13 guests.

Larry's Lodge
Larry's Lodge is named after a client that was very dear to our hearts here at Medicine Creek Pheasant Ranch. This lodge was made in 2004. The east side has 5 twin beds and a bathroom. The west side has one queen bed, one full bed, a bathroom, tv, washer and dryer, stove, and a refrigerator.

The Farm House
Our farm house is the first location we housed hunters when we started our hunting business. The original home has been added onto by each generation that lives in it. Today we can house 7 people in our basement and 4 people upstairs.

Frenchy’s Place
A new home on our property was built in 2014 on the hill overlooking Medicine Creek. We call it Frenchy’s Place. This handicap accessible lodge has one bedroom, a loft, and a shared bathroom on the main level. The house can comfortably sleep 6 adults.
