I have always loved sharing the wilderness spirit that can only be found in the last remaining truly wild places, Alaska is one of those places and perhaps the best. Come experience a hunt that will be shared again and again around campfires and anywhere where hunters gather. Happy hunting to all.

In the 20 years that I and the guide whom I apprenticed under have been hunting this area, we have never observed a single grizzly bear or black bear with a rub spot on it's hide. In fact, a good percentage of the Grizzly bears even have the desirable multicolor Toklat coloration. Bottom line: these are beautiful bears. This package includes pickup and drop off anywhere in Anchorage, food, lodging, etc. for the 10 day period. ( For spring Bear hunts the hunt period is 9 days ) You are responsible for any travel to and from Anchorage and any lodging before or after the hunt. All skins, skulls, horns and meat will be adequately handled in the field and taken in to either a Tannery/Taxidermist/Meat Processing place of your choice in Alaska or we can make arrangements for a shipping expediter to store them and ship them wherever you like at your expense. If you choose you can use your Grizzly Bear tag on a black bear with no additional trophy fee charged, the Black Bear Trophy Fee would only be charged if one has already harvested a Grizzly bear. Spring Hunts Only : These are going to be some fun Grizzly Bear hunts ! We will hunt in multiple ways for Grizzly, we will spot and stalk hunt, predator call & hunt bait stations ( if you want ). When it comes to spot and stalk and calling we will be on foot some of the time but will also be mobile and using Atv’s and 4 wheel drive vehicles. If the 9 day hunt goes the full length then at the beginning, middle and then towards the end of the hunt you will stay in a lodge with full amenities ( your cost would be around $120 per day at the lodge for these 3 lodging days ). During the other days/nights of the hunt we will likely be staying in a small cabin and/or RV and/or tent, however we may not stay in a tent at all and if if so we will keep tent camping to a minimum throughout the hunt. This area has almost no hunting pressure ! ** Black Bear can be hunted too. Now get ready for some adventure folks !

- 50% non-refundable deposit due with the signed contract, these will need to be mailed to me within 30 days of booking the hunt. Other 50% of the hunt price is due before the hunt begins. However if you cannot make your hunt I will work with you the best that I can to reschedule your hunt in the future.

- For the spring bear hunts we will be utilizing bait stations only some of the time, during those you will lodge up to 3 days , your lodge cost will be around $360 ( $120/day )if We hunt 9 days
- As of 2023 those fees are:
- Non-Res. Hunting License - $160 (also covers small game such as coyotes, game birds, etc.)
- Non-Res. Grizzly Tag - $1,000
- Non-Res. Black Bear Tag - $450
- Non Res. Dall Sheep Tag - $850
- Non. Res. Wolverine Tag - $350
- Non. Res. Wolf Tag - Free ( not required )
- Prices for a license and Tags for Non-Resident Alien ( Non-Citizens of the U.S.A. ) are higher, please contact me for more information on the specific prices or go to the Alaska Fish & Game website or download their App.

- A wounded animal counts towards your allotted animal on the hunt with me and my outfit. A wounded animal is defined as one that has been hit by a projectile, (usually this means that there is sign that blood has been drawn but not always!) That said, we will make absolutely Herculean efforts to recover any animal that you wound.
