I have been a professional hunter for 40 years plus and guiding since 1995. Hunts are done by traditional spot and stalk methods. Which allow us to cater for all age and fitness levels. Over the years I have guided hunters from the US, Europe, Australia and New Zealand on all the South Pacific's trophies. I specialize in free range hunting (no high fences) and I believe I would be one of the longest standing free range hunting guides in the country.

Über diese Jagd

This fabulous free range wilderness hunt takes place high up the New Zealand's Southern Alps. Access to our hunting area is by 4X4. We set up a base camp high up in an alpine basin and from there hunt our Himalayan Tahr and Alpine Chamois. We may also venture further from our base camp and fly camp if the weather conditions are favorable. Our base camp has all amenities including a hot shower. If time permits hunters may take up one extra trophy of each species or hunt red stags that are often present in our hunting areas at no extra cost. A helicopter is not required for this hunt but can be added at an extra cost to the package at hunter's request. This can be a single species hunt for Tahr @ $4500 Or a combo hunt for Tahr and Chamois @ 1x1 $8500 Bring a buddy for half price Please find below some important points to consider when choosing a hunt. Our base camp is used along with drop camps which allows us to be more mobile. Hot water, shower etc available at our base camps. We are basically out of civilization and in the mountains for the duration of the hunt.
