Excellent Hunt
Excellent hunting experience. Took my son and wife spring black bear hunting. We had the last hunt of the season. I was less than optimistic. I was wrong. Saw 20+ bears in the 3 days of hunting. Killed a huge black bear and my son killed a great cinnamon. Great guide, great outfitter and great territory. Thank you for making such great memories.

Was very pleased with this hunt and will be doing it again
This was my forth guided hunt so I have a bit of experience with guides! Ray was great and man he worked his ass off to get my my moose and Mule Deer! Was great with the meat and helped me get it home! Will be hunting with him again for sure! Also well priced!
It was far away haha but that’s where the big moose are

More Than Just a Hunting Trip
Ray and his staff went above and beyond to not just provide a hunting trip, but an experience. We worked hard for the animals and I was able to put a moose and a bear on the ground. I would like to say thank you to Adrian for putting me on a moose and then working so hard to bring the animal out of the field. By then end of the trip I did not feel that I was a client hunting with a guide, I felt like I was hunting with one of my buddies. When I booked this hunt I was a little apprehensive as is my nature. I would say to anyone who is feeling that way not to feel that way about Wolverine Range Outfitters. They are honest and hard working. Every staff member legitimately wanted each hunter to harvest a quality animal and worked long hours to ensure that. I will definitely be booking another trip in the future. Not just to go and try to harvest another animal, but to go see my new Canadian friends.
That I had to go home.

Excellent Trip
Ray and his guides were very good to work with and extremely knowledgeable of the area. Zack (Ray's guide) worked hard the entire trip and made sure I was able to check all of the boxes on my list! I hunted with my wife, and Ray and his guides made sure that she was welcomed and comfortable while we were on our trip.

Marty & Darold BC Mountain Goat Hunt 2023
This was an amazing and unforgettable hunt. The hunt was everything you’d want and expect in a goat hunt. Goat hunting is a mental and physical challenge.
and this one wont cheat you out of either. The entire trip was excellent with awesome views, both on the mountain and at
the lodge. We had a great hunt and we both got nice Goats. Looking forward to more hunts with Ray and WRO.

2023 SPRING BEAR HUNT
THIS HUNT WAS ABOUT CREATING MEMORIES WITH MY DAUGHTER . WE EACH TOOK A GOOD BEAR. HERS WAS BIGGER THAN MINE. I GOT MINE ON THE FIRST DAY ABOUT 2 HOURS INTO THE HUNT. SHE WAITED AND LOOKED AT A LOT OF BEARS BEFORE TAKING HERS. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A QUALITY BEAR HUNT YOU NEED NOT LOOK ANY FURTHER. THIS AREA HAS LOTS OF BEARS. THE ONLY WAY YOU WON'T GET ONE IS IF YOU CAN'T SHOOT. AFTER WE GOT OUR BEARS WE SPENT SOME QUALITY TIME FISHING. WE HAD NEVER FISHED NORTHERN WATERS SO CATCHING LAKE TROUT WAS A GREAT BONUS. PLUS THEY ARE REALLY TASTY. THIS HUNT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE I RECOMMEND IT WITHOUT RESERVATION

Lack of Bull Moose
Outfitter was hard working and skilled. Accommodations were good
Simply lack of Bull Moose. Outfitter worked extremely hard, we covered a large area , tried multiple tactics. Outfittter had experienced a couple weeks of rain almost daily. Just could not call or locate any adult Bull Moose. Believed largely due to weather but in reality in 7 days of hard hunting we only located about 3 sets of Adult Bull Moose Tracks. We setup and called at over 25 different locations and the only response was from one cow moose

Goat, Moose combo
The goat hunting was exceptional. Physically demanding but worth the pain. Took a great goat
Sold as a combo hunt for Moose. The hunting was a real challenge. Full moon and hot weather made tough hunting even worse. It was at least a week before the rut kicked in. I also took a nice black bear so I can't really complain. I simply question whether the combo hunt made sense. You couldn't hunt goats later unless you wanted to hunt in the snow, but it was really too early to effectively hunt Moose.

Excellent Experience
The camp hosts were so nice, helpful, and great cooks. Guides were all very friendly and enjoyable to be with. Good source of hunting knowledge when I asked questions. Lots of options to hunt with lake, river, cuts, marshes. I had a week with such nice hunters as well. I felt like we were all old friends when we left. Everyone in camp pitched in and helped me process my meat. Had tables, a grinder, and freezers to get it done. And of course, I took a Big, unique moose in a beautiful spot right out of my day dreams. I did some good fishing after my moose tag was filled. Was an excellent week.
They put me on my bull too soon...was tagged out in 2 hours my first morning! Haha. Pressure was off me and then I could fish and relax the rest of the week.
I have nothing to dislike about my week. All good experience.

True Backpack Mountain Goat Hunt
I was looking for a true backpack mountain goat hunt and the hunting experience with Wolverine Range Outfitters did not disappoint. The outfitter and main guide were honest and hard working. Although this style of hunt can be physically demanding, we continued to challenge ourselves each day with hiking and glassing until I was successful in harvesting a mountain goat on the 4th day of solid hunting. It was a very steep shot up the mountain and my guide did a great job in coaching on the distance to shoot at such an angle.
The scenery was amazing and we did not see anyone else while in the mountains.
After harvesting the mountain goat we returned to the main lodge at the lake and caught lots of nice rainbow trout and some lake trout.
It was an excellent adventure!

We came, we went, we saw and we harvested!
I had promised my wife a trip to Italy but under the current situation that did not materialize. I ask her if she would settle for a Moose hunt instead? Lol. She turned out to be the lucky charm. We drove up from southern B.C. and arrived before noon on the 15th of October. We were greeted by Harley the dog and Ray the guide and owner. We chatted with one of the other hunters that were there and he commented that the Moose were plentiful. The three of us headed out that afternoon and incredibly two hours into the hunt we harvested a magnificent and massive 1100 lb. Bull! Wow! It was an incredible experience. We would recommend it to anyone! Lol. We had some challenges getting back as the night and weather had moved in. We arrived back safe and it made for an interesting hunting story. The lodge is located on beautiful Chuchi lake and next time we would like to spend more time there.
Thanks Ray for a short visit. Lol.

Great adventure!
We had an amazing hunt with WR Outfitters. Great time at spike camp, hikes to some pristine moose habitat, overall it was an unforgettable adventure. Wonderful hospitality, everybody at camp made us feel like family. Thanks to the cooks for all the great food! Guides are professional, knowledgeable and dedicated. Their passion and hard work are just amazing! Also the best fishing we've ever done!

Everything and everyone with Wolverine Range was excellent. Had a great trip and spent time with some great people. These folks live what it means to be Canadian, honest and hard working. . Hospitality was second to none. Great food, cabin, lodge and Nathaniel our guide on the day we connected on my bull was one of the finest young men I have ever had the pleasure to spend time with. This outfitter is the full experience and i would return in the blink of an eye. Awsome

Spring Black Bear Hunting
We had an amazing time hunting with Ray, Nate and their team. They are really professional and will work hard to help you harvest your animal. Accommodations and food was also great. We where three hunters and all three where able to hunt our black Bears each over 6 feet in length. I even had the opportunity at two 7 footers but wasn't able to pull the trigger.
All in all Wolverine Range Outfitters provides a great hunting experience.

information supplied is incorrect, a new owner/guide, less experienced, less prepared and don't know the area good as a goat hunting outfitters/guide
A new owner from Ontario, bought the business 3 years ago and didn't hunt goat so far because of pandemic, the owner(guide as well) has less experience and less prepared, owner has no spotting scope, a 100g fuel canister left for 4 of us when we still have 4 full days to hunt and there was a fire ban in that area, minimum 8 to 12 hours hike to the base camp with 30-40lbs backpack and rifle but owner said 2-4 hours, we had 10 days hunt with 4 days rain but owner's excuse is weather. only see 2-3 goats miles away, no chance to get close 50-300 yards by hike in unknown area. no way to bring any meat or hide back even we got one.

Comments untrue. Client trying to blame outfitter for bad weather? Failed to mention I carried most of his his gear up for him, his friend missed a nice Billy on 1st day then we stalked 2 other goats on the next 2 days. Every huntable day we were on goats. I had a fully supplied cache of food, fuel and gear. He pointed a loaded gun at my guide with safety off and whenever we saw any alpine animal he asked to kill it even though it is protected species like a marmot, caribou. He admitted that he wanted to pull the trigger on anything that moved. This guy is not a hunter and just wants to kill things. The type of guy who gives hunters a bad name. He needs to study hunting ethics, conservation, gun safety in order to become a better hunter and sportsmen. When we could not hunt he failed to mention all the fun he had catching nice rainbow trout. Hopefully he books another mountain hunt with another outfitter then he will see how hard it is to find someone to carry all his gear up for him. Needs a reality check about mountain hunting. Maybe he could not carry a goat off the mountain but I can even if takes multiple trips.
