- UPDATE! IN 2024 WE KILLED SOME GREAT TURKEYS, SOME GREAT BOW KILLS INCLUDING A 17 POINT MONSTER KILLED BY A 9 YEAR OLD LADY WITH A CROSSBOW. ALSO, A NINE POINT, AND SOME 8 POINTERS. RIFLE SEASON WAS TOUGH THIS YEAR, THE WEATHER WAS HOT AND WINDY. WE DID TAKE A MASSIVE 15 POINT MONSTER THAT GREEN SCORED 178 1/2, OUR BEST EVER. WE ALSO TOOK SEVERAL SMALLER BUCKS, A VERY NICE 12 POINT, AND SOME 8 POINTERS. - All of our cabins [except our OFF GRID cabin] provide hot showers, Wifi, and a Full kitchen and clean bedding.
- Bob Parker has won several awards from African Hunter of the Year, Best Missouri Whitetail, and numerous Bow Awards with his recurve bow. He has several entries in Safari Club International and also Missouri Big Bucks Club. Bob has taken lot's of big Southern Missouri whitetails over the years and uses his knowledge of an assortment of hunting tactics to help his clients take one one of hardest animals on the planet to hunt, a mature free ranging whitetail buck!

- Trophy Quest Outdoor Adventures has been in operation since 1998. It is a small family run hunting operation with some excellent Deer and Turkey hunting located in the Southern Missouri Ozarks region on nearly 700 acres of private land surrounded by vast amounts of heavily wooded timberlands. It's operations are located in Texas, and Shannon Counties. The Trophy Quest lodge and main hunting property is located in the famous Texas County region that is well known for giant Eastern Turkey and excellent Whitetail hunting. Texas County is legendary for it's deer and turkey hunting and is usually in the top 3 counties in Missouri for deer and turkey kills and many times has been number one! It's unique blend of expansive timberland and small farms provides excellent habitat for game. Our Wildlife are free ranging and are truly wild and fair chase for an challenging outdoor adventure.
- The lodge and cabins have over 100 mounts adorning the walls and the rustic cabins were built by Owner Bob Parker and his wife Karen, with much of it sawn from timber from his property on his Wood Mizer sawmill. Years of hunting in the U.S., Canada, and several Safari's in Africa are evident around the Lodge with numerous game mounts adorning the walls. Bob has hunted Whitetail deer and turkey for over 47 years and has extensive experience in the field to help you find that trophy of a lifetime!

UPDATE; JUST HAVE OPENINGS FROM January 20th to April 7th 2025, then JUNE 1 TO SEPTEMBER 10. 2025 NOTE: I do not supply firearms or calls or night vision for this hunt. I have had several ask. I show you the property and stands and you hunt on your own and stay in my cabins. COYOTES, Predator hunt on over 700 acres of private land. Stay in my private lodge. LODGING INCLUDED! NIGHT VISION IS LEGAL ON PRIVATE LAND NOW IN MISSOURI WITH OWNERS PERMISSION. CHECK REGULATIONS FOR HUNTING BOBCATS WITH MISSOURI DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION. We have the occasional wild hog on trail cams but they are rare so far. SHOOT EM!! 2 hunters only $600.00 total price. Can add additional hunters at $250 each. This is the first time I have offered predator hunting, very little has been done on my properties. We have a few hogs now too and please shoot any you see. Missouri also legalized night vision from Feb. 1 through March 31 on private land. Let's kill some predators! I'll help get you in good places to call. We have lot's of coyotes and some bobcats here. Weather conditions and skill level are important parts of being successful. This is the first time we have offered predator hunts so not sure of our success rate yet. Be sure and check Bobcat seasons in Missouri before you book. Missouri Department of Conservation, Bob

It's a hunt not grocery shopping !
It's not a big property but there's a bunch of game traffic....i was fortunate to call in a couple bucks and take a shot at one but not get it with my longbow. That's my own fault. For the price I'm more than happy and the lodge is great. Internet not so much. But definitely got my monies worth and then some

Lots of deer, great properties to enjoy, cabin is a nice base camp
Opportunities were there, nice stand placements for gun hunters, seen some great bucks, and in a week seen over 40 deer, lots of turkey, and wildlife.
Compound bow hunting could be catered to a bit more, although i was very happy with overall options of stands.

Bob is a class act
Bob really worked hard and tried to help us however he could to make our hunt successful. He knows his land well. It was super early and the birds were hened up and had a big cold front but we stayed with them. My son got a huge bird after we got them patterned. His first Tom. 1-3/8 spurs . Memories that will last a lifetime. Stay with them and be patient. Saw Tons and tons of deer. Man o man was it loaded with deer. Every where we set up we had deer come by us. Every single time.

It's free range fair chase deer hunting here. I have good bucks but whitetail trophy bucks are hard to kill. About half my deer hunters killed 8 point bucks or better and everyone saw lots of does and bucks. Several were trying to kill their biggest buck ever so that can make it tough. I know some good bucks were passed buck the heat and horrible drought did seem to have an impact on big buck movement. Good news is there will be great bucks next year! Thanks for hunting with us. Average hunting experience
Mr. and Mrs. Parker were both very nice. Talking with them felt like friends I’ve had for a long time. The lodge has mounts from all around the world to admire. Nice clean sleeping area.
No real inside stove to cook meals on. Just a one burner hot plate. I only got to hunt one of the two properties. There are plenty of stands and ground blinds, but way to close together for my liking. Although I saw does every day. That’s not what I went there for.

The cabin you stayed has a small oven with a stove top with one burner. It also has a microwave, huge gas grill on the front porch and also charcoal grill outside as well as a full size refrigerator. You are correct there is not a regular kitchen in that cabin. We offer to do dishes for hunters or just use our pots and pans and paper plates and such. I wish you would have said something while you were there maybe we could have helped. 80% of our hunters in our rifle rut hunt had opportunities for shooter 8 pointers or better. Because this is during prime rut I key in on does. I wish everyone could take a monster buck with us but sadly this is not the case. I try my best to put hunters in the best spots a moved hunters to several different stands during this hunt. Thanks again for hunting with us! Bob

Excellent hunting experience
Bob and his wife Karen have a great place the cabin was beautiful and the pond out front was a great bonus to spend an afternoon fishing after the morning hunt. We really enjoyed staying at trophy quest outdoor adventures and would highly recommend this outfitter to anyone. Bob has some amazing property to hunt and a healthy population of turkey. We did not get a bird this year but will definitely be back to try again. Bob took time to sit down and share stories with my dad and I as well as give us some pointers and teach us a few tricks with our box call and slate call he is a wonderful guy and he does it right.

Making memories and continuing the tradition!
Can’t say enough great things about TQ for our recent 2-day Missouri youth rifle deer hunt! Communication with the outfitter was timely and responsive. We were warmly greeted immediately upon our arrival and the accommodations were clean, comfortable and warm. Over the course of our hunt, we saw over 35 deer which is critical for success on any youth hunt. Overall, the hospitality, fellowship, meals and accommodations exceeded our expectations and made for a wonderful father/son experience. We look forward to future hunts with TQ!

Hot weather suppressed deer activity but that's part of hunting early season.
