- Fisher is an outfitter and hunting guide based just outside Manhattan in West Orange, NJ. Learn to Hunt NYC was established in 2013 in response seeing the challenges to starting out as a hunter faced by adult hunters living in urban places. Our focus is to give beginners and novices the opportunity to learn all the essential skills they need to be able to go off and have success on their own.
- No experience is necessary, hunter education is not required, and many hunters are able to harvest a deer, turkey, or squirrel on the very first hunt of their lives with us.

A time honored tradition for beginners, squirrel hunting is an action packed challenge that teaches essential hunting skills and yields surprisingly delicious meat. Please note that there is no hunting on Sundays!

Excellent hunting experience
I liked that there was an emphasis on educating me how to hunt. After a few times out, I have a level of confidence that would allow me to go solo if I wanted to.
Hunting is hard. It takes a few times out to be successful. I wouldn’t say that I didn’t like that. It’s part of a larger learning process.
