Where to hunt Yakutia Snow Sheep
Yakutia snow sheep is a variety of Asian snow sheep (their Latin name literally means “one that lives in the snows”) who inhabit inhabit the mountain ranges of the North-East of Russia. They are closely related to bighorn sheep (some researchers believe they are a subspecies). True to its name, Yakutia snow sheep are found in Yakutia-Sakha, the biggest member by territory of the Russian Federation.
Price distribution
Yakutia snow sheep hunts are priced from $10,000 and go up to $30,000. As a matter of fact, the most significant part of the cost of the trip is the helicopter chapter, so the price is greatly influenced by the number of hunters in the camp. The most expensive hunts are those that offer an opportunity to take two or three kinds of sheep during one hunt.
