The V Nives Hermit Crab was designed to work in tandem with the CRAB Cut Rescue Assist Break multi-tool to fill in the missing piece from that excellent design. You'll clearly see in the name that the CRAB can Cut, but the task is solely left up to the scissors that give the tool its name and slicing is totally out of the question. Enter the minute Hermit Crab frame lock folder that is superbly suited for keychain carry. It features a stainless steel lock insert, ambidextrous thumb disc deployment, and the same milling on the FRN handle as the CRAB multi-tool. The pocket clip allows you to carry the knife as a normal (albeit tiny) EDC, as a makeshift money clip, and it triples - most importantly - as an overtravel arrestor. You can get a solid two-finger grip on the compact handle but with the addition of a lanyard, can turn that into a full-four finger grip with ease.
