More about us
Our company was established in 2024 and operates in 2 territories.
We are the Canadian Rifleman Company. My name is Daryl, my brother is Dean and we have been hunting and guiding since childhood. My father was a guide for big game, especially moose in Northern British Columbia, and I followed in his tracks. I am primarily a Western Canadian moose specialist, having guided or been present as a guide assistant for the harvest of more than fifty moose. For the past 3 years I have been guiding for moose, mule deer, white tailed deer, bears, and wolves.
About this hunt
Don't settle for less than the most enjoyable wolf hunt experience. Yes, we are more expensive than our competitors but that’s because we are in business to do it better! Much better! Our mission is to provide a world class experience. We use nice equipment, your own sleeping quarters, our guides are well paid, we provide delicious meals and the best possible hunting experience from heated blinds watching maintained baits. While you’re here everything is handled, including pickup and travel to and from the airport in Grande Prairie, delicious meals, comfortable accommodations and plenty of snacks. There is complimentary beer and beverages in all our fridges. Depending on the location of the baits we choose to use and weather conditions, hunters will be housed in nicely kept RVs. Unless you’re doing a 2 on 1 hunt (2 hunters, one guide), in which case you will share an RV, you will have your own space (yes this means you can bring your wife) with your own fridge stocked with beverages. Nights are long here in the winter so we also use a wall tent as the camp centre living room, complete with wood stove for warmth, along with chairs and snacks. Our camps feature delicious home cooked meals prepared by staff. Accommodations are warm, dry and comfortable. Our Wolf hunts are 7 days and come with 2 tags and the hunter may also shoot coyotes if the opportunity presents. The hunts themselves are conducted from heated hunting blinds. We also use calling. The area is a high opportunity area. Skinning, caping and processing are all included and provided by your guide. Not included are taxidermy and any costs associated with shipping the animal, skin, pelts or furs back to the hunter's home.

Where you will stay
Cabin, RV and Wall Tent
Accomodations will vary depend on the specific location and weather conditions and may be in a cabin or RV. Each camp is slightly different but if we are not in the cabin we will be sleeping in RVs and using the Vickel tent as the camp centre with a wood stove, chairs and our cooking gear. The house is nice and is normally used as an AirBnB but for hunts close to town we will be staying there with our hunters and preparing all the meals there. The cabin in the photos is out near Valleyview, Alberta which is about 1h20m away but is close to some of our best areas for hunting. We can accommodate one hunter or perhaps a married couple at that location.
