More about us
Our company was established in 2006 and operates in 5 territories.
- Our private family run company is an exclusive and very successful hunting outfit based in Namibia, where the client receives personal attention from the owners themselves during their entire safari. We do not make use of Freelance Professional Hunters.
- We are different in the sense that we do not believe in the general trend of commercialization, and therefore offer high-quality trophy hunting safaris in pristine unfenced wilderness areas. We manage our hunters and therefore also our off-take on trophy animals in our concessions, to ensure our clients of the highest quality trophies.
- We do specialized hunts in our Damaraland and Kaokoveld Unfenced Wilderness Concessions, which is more than 1 700 000 acres in extent and where you can choose from an array of different desert adapted species (including leopard) to hunt from.
- We also offer hunts on our commercial game farm namely Omburo Sud Camp, specifically to cater for hunters that request species that do not naturally occur in our Damaraland and Kaokoland Concessions of northwestern Namibia. Omburo Sud camp hunting concession is also a wilderness concession without any fences and hunters have the potential to see natural populations of elephant moving through the concession on a regular basis.
- Dangerous Game are primarily hunted in the Zambezi Region (Old Caprivi) in north eastern Namibia, especially for buffalo, elephant, hippopotamus and crocodile. We do however also hunt elephant in other concessions in Namibia as is available.
- All our Hunting Camps are run in the true elegant style of yesteryear and can accommodate only four guests at any one time, therefore we guarantee you and your party to have the entire concession to yourself for the entire duration of your safari.
- Lastly, we have hunted our concessions for the past 18 years and knows the landscape, the game and most importantly the local Semi-nomadic Himba people, who gets all the meat from our animals hunted, intimately.
About this hunt
We constantly do research for some of the best concessions in order to source the best quality trophy animals for our clients. OMBURO SUD HUNTING CONCESSION is located in northwestern Namibia. Our company is committed to and promotes Old Style Authentic Hunting experiences; thus, we have very strict ethics when it comes to the hunt itself. We believe in the whole hunting experience; therefore, we promote quality trophies, rather than quantity. Each of our hunts are individually planned, and we scout our concessions before every hunt. We also operate with a small staff compliment and do all our hunts personally. Each hunting party have the entire concession to themselves. We never mixed clients. This is a minimum 6 hunting days for plains game safari we offer on our hunting ranch called Omburu Sud. All hunting is done on foot. Day of arrival and day of departure does not count as hunting days. Excursions can be organized to Etosha National Park.

A real hunt
This is a real hunt. You will work hard for your animals. Truly a wild place. Outfitter will take excellent care of you. His care of trophy’s after they are taken is best I have ever seen. Anton is a world class PH and it was a pleasure to hunt with him.
Through no fault of anyone’s grass was unusually tall due to a lot of rain that they never get. Which makes things difficult when you are trying to find a 2 foot Dik Dik in three feet of grass. But we never stopped and I got a very nice one.
Successful and enjoyable hunt
I found Anton, the outfitter and PH to be extremely professional and trustworthy. I always got a straight answer and no BS. His concessions are abundant in game which travel freely across the low fence areas. The accommodations and food were very good and I was always made to feel at home. Anton went the extra mile on several occasions including finding additional ammo in and uncommon caliber when I was running low. And I have to brag on his resilience after he had a serious injury during the hunt. The injury was bad enough that most guys including myself would have called it quits but he continued to hunt until I had my trophy and was back on the plane.
I wish I had spent two more weeks with Anton to explore more of Namibia :) But there will be another trip
After two previous African hunts, Anton gave us the true African experience we wanted.
Expert knowledge of the game and terrain combinig sight seeing with a satisfying hunting eperience
