About this hunt
We offer you original African hunting adventures in the vast, unspoiled, Mozambique wilderness. We operate numerous concessions in Sofala, Manica & Tete Provinces that still boasts large populations of both big game and plains game. These huge areas cover a wonderful range of varying habitat. As a result, we are able to offer a complete range of species available to Mozambique, ranging from the small and elusive forest duikers to the big four, leopard, lion, buffalo and elephant. We offer gully exportable (US & Europe) Lion from Mozambique Should you wish to take any of the other plains game we have on offer, with the above safaris, you may do so for the charge of the trophy fee only.

The first being on the lake shore of Cahora Bassa which provides some of the best hippo & crocodile hunting in Africa as well as good lion & leopard and fishing for the world famous tiger fish. The second camp is located in land and is the base of the Tete operation with excellent lion, leopard, elephant and plains game on offer. There are good buffalo in the area but the quota are limited. Both camps are roughly 3 hours from Tete by road. Clients are accomodated in permanent thatched chalets with bathroom and toilet ensuite, and hot and cold running water 24/7. Excellent hunting experience
The game quality is excellent, the Staff at Mahimba camp are very efficient and courteous. PH Martin Snyman very knowledgeable about area and game and a very good host.
The heat of October in the Delta is extreme but it's part of the adventure and the best time to hunt buffalo.
It is real African hunt. No fences, no plays. Everything is naturally!
