About this hunt
Due to a late cancellation you can take advantage of a special offer on our only remaining 2025 spot and stalk bear hunt! We are offering a discount of $500.00 per hunter for this hunt. Hunt dates available are May 19th through May 23rd. Our normal 2x1 guided bear hunt price of $4250.00 per hunter is now available for $3750.00 per hunter. Our 1x1 price of $4750.00 is now available for $4250.00. This is a full 5 day hunt with meals and lodging included. Hunts are conducted out of our lodge located in Hamilton Montana. We are taking some big bears with multiple color phase. Phases include black, blonde, chocolate, cinnamon, and even a few multi-colored. The southern slopes, avalanche shoots, and old logging roads make for some tasty grass that the bears seek. The bears are on the move, hungry and needing to replenish calories burned over the winter months. Spring bear season in Montana is a fantastic time to be about in the mountains. This bear hunt is spot and stalk fair chase only. The use of bait is forbidden in the state of Montana. Your weapons can include rifle, pistol, muzzleloader or archery tackle. These hunts will book very quickly so plan ahead for a great trip to beautiful Montana!

I enjoy my hunt. I couldn’t stay for the full hunt as there was a death in my family so I only hunted for 3 days and did not harvest an elk. I did enjoy the time while I was there.
I enjoyed the beautiful surroundings, the professional guys that I smelt the 3 days.
I would have liked to hunt for the full 5 days, which was not fault of the outfitter.
J&J Guide Service review
My guide, John Pezzin’s was outstanding. I have hunted elk for 35 yrs and he is one of the best I have had. Worked very hard at trying to put us on elk. Had four hunters at lodge with no shots fired all week. That’s hunting.
Lots of hunters no matter where we went. Many more than I expected and we only hunted weekdays, not weekends. Most elk sightings were on private land. The food was very poor. Expect a little more than a peanut and jelly sandwich for lunch. Hunters had to reheat food upon return for dinner. Cook made food at 4pm then left.
Good hunting experience
