Fantastic Mule Deer Hunt!

9.7 of 10

Matt was great to work with, both before and after the hunt. My guide (Todd) was very personable and knowledgeable about mule deer and the hunting areas, and I had a blast hunting with him. We hunted 100% on public land and I passed on multiple opportunities at respectable bucks every day. I killed my buck on Day 4, after passing up at least 6-8 other bucks. I couldn't recommend hunting with Geneva Park Outfitters more, and look forward to hunting with them again in the future!

Great hunting experience.

I hunted first with my dad on his 2018 Bighorn Sheep hunt in S12 with Gevena Park Outfitters, then the following year I was lucky enough to draw a 2019 Mountain Goat tag in G10 and went right back to Geneva Park Outfitters to guide me on my hunt. I liked that I was able to contact Matt and the other guide Todd, during the summer and figure out spots to do some scouting by myself. As well as just being able to keep in contact and plan how the hunt would go before actually going down for the hunt. They are very knowledgable on the areas they hunt and how the animals live. It was nice that they hunt smart, they don't want to wear you out hiking around like crazy right off the bat, they find animals first then decide what the best way to get to them is. I liked the guiding and that they didn't go where it would be dangerous for us hiking around as well as tough for game retrieval. Sleeping accomodations and food were good! For both of the hunts I was on with them we based out of the guide's house, because it worked best. But if the hunt required it we would have camped out for a night on the mountain. They ask what kind of food you like and if you don't like certain food, so you get food that you'll eat so you have much needed energy. I would use Geneva Park Outfitters again and would recommend them for other hunters.

There wasn't really anything that I didn't like. To me I was happy with the hunt I drew and the one I tagged along with for my dad with the help of Geneva Park Outfitters.

Once in a Lifetime Colorado Mountain Goat hunt

These guys did an awesome job. Matt had animals pre scouted, and excellent camp set up, etc, etc. He was very client oriented...whatever pace you needed he was good with it. These are not easy hunts and Matt had it nailed!
