Spring Bear hunting takes place between April 15th and June 15th. All Bear hunting is done over bait hounds with bait or spot and stalk. With hounds, we will be following them with horses. Baiting is over established bait sites. The Bears that will be pursued are 85% color phase. You may choose between Rifle or Bow. Come enjoy the beauty of Spring in the mountains. Fall Bear hunts are only linked with Elk or Deer hunts. We suggest booking early! Bear Tag – $156

Good hunting experience
A true western hunting experience!
The ability to go deep into public land in search for quality game via horse and pack mules. The hunting area is super rugged and conditions were extreme, but that’s where the big boys hang out. My guide, Journey, was fantastic and spotted several top quality Mule Deer which we did pursue. Although unsuccessful, this experience was what I was hoping for. I am going back!
It’s time to update the sleeping tents and cots, but it didn’t spoil the experience.
