- We have been a premier hunting destination for the last 20 years and cater for bow and rifle hunting. The nature of the terrain and topography provides well worn game paths, while the cover lends itself to walk and stalk and ambush hunting with an emphasis on getting close. Here the ethical bow hunter and his/her quarry have an equal chance, while blinds and certain lookout points are strategically placed to be most effective. The package includes 5 days hunting 1x1, 1 Kudu or Gemsbuck, 1 Impala, 1 Zebra or Bontebuck, 1 Warthog, 1 Bushbuck. We are passionate about offering our hunters, safari groups and the trophy collector’s an exceptional hunting experience, we pride ourselves in providing good hospitality and personalized service! The total hunting area comprises of more than 1000 hectares on our property and conservancy which consists of 55000 hectares and various other properties in the Malaria-free Eastern Cape. Hunting is conducted on foot as well as from blinds and tree stands on our property with limited travelling to selected concessions to ensure trophy quality and variety of species. The varied terrain in the Eastern Cape provides for an unforgettable hunting trip as the sights and scenery experienced are magnificent. River cruises and bass fishing are complimentary, when booking this package, on the large confluence of 2 rivers here at Crown River Safaris. Spectacular sunsets are enjoyed around the campfire while sharing tales of your rewarding day of hunting and where clients become part of the Crown River family. Exemption to hunt all year round!

Main Lodge
Main Lodge - The lodge sleeps 2 - 12 people, and is made up of three bedrooms en-suite, a large double volume lounge, dining room and a bar is available. Two Deluxe River Units are perched on the river bank with similar views as the main lodge. The units can accommodate two adults each in a double or twin bed set up. Both units have spacious patio's with built in braai facilities as well as fully equipped compact kitchen and en-suite bathroom. From the spacious patios with braai (barbeque) facilities one overlooks the river and valley, where one can view Zebra, Buffalo and antelope, among many others animals. Medbury Ranch Guest House- Situated on the grassy upper plain, the cosy and comfortable farmhouse sleeps 6 - 8 and is situated in the heart of the hunting property. Views extend to the Zuurberg mountains forming a backdrop with the view of various antelope, zebra and buffalo regularly visiting the water hole for their afternoon drink only 60 metres away.
