Common duiker hunting in Botswana {{ totalToursString }}
Common Duikers are also known as Grey or Grimm’s Duikers. The SCI Record book refers to these Duikers as Southern Bush Duikers.
Unlike the Forest Duikers, Common Duiker females do not have horns although the long tuft of hair between the ears may look like a single horn. Their colour varies from grey to light brown and they have very pronounced suborbital facial glands just below their eyes.
These highly adaptable animals are usually solitary or found in pairs and most active at dawn and dusk. During the day they tend to rest up in a thicket.
Classified as a species of least concern by the IUCN and can be exported if the hunter has complied with all the local hunting regulations.
