More about us
Our company was established in 2021 and operates in 1 territory.
- My name is Jonas Wande, who together with my hunter wife, Elvira Wande. I was born in the mid 80's and have been hunting myself since my legs carried me and shot my first bird at the age of 7. Since then, hunting has been the main part of my life. Although forest bird hunting is an invincible favorite, large parts of the hunting year also consist of hunting deer, moose, beaver, hare, marten, sea birds and badger. In short, all the game that moves in the forests of northern Sweden. We do most of the hunts together with our eminent hunting dogs. Our ambition is that our hunting dogs should not be characterized by a single game, but that they - as we say - should be "all-round dogs". Sometimes, however, we leave the forests of northern Sweden to hunt deer or pigs to the south of Sweden.
- Game management is an important part of hunting life, where we believe it is just as important to place salt stones and winter feeding, as to conduct predator control to maintain a good game population. During the winter, we therefore devote a lot of time to trapping as a local form of game management, which mainly consists of traps for marten and fox snares.
- Our ambition is therefore to help you who want to become a hunter with your journey towards a hunting degree, but also to help you as an already experienced hunter to further develop your skills or join a hunting experience in the forests of Norrland.
About this hunt
Whether you are a novice or a seasoned hunter, a guided hunting experience is something out of the ordinary. Our multi-day hunts with a hunting guide and experienced bird dogs are excellent for those who want to hunt in the Norrland wilderness for a long weekend or just in the middle of the week. Our ambition with the multi-day hunts is to offer and preserve hunting skills passed down through generations with a focus on simple, peaceful and exciting hunting experiences - disconnected from the stress and worries of everyday life. The pace is adjusted according to the hunter's ability, but be prepared for hilly terrain or deep snow to take a toll. On our multi-day hunts, we offer and recommend overnight stays in our heated tent cabin next to the hunting ground. Here's a sample itinerary for our multi-day hunts: - Pickup from the airport (alternatively bus or train station) on the day of arrival, usually Thursday evening. Transport to intended hunting area. The place to stay is looked up the same evening you arrive and planning is done for the next hunting day. - Arrival day: Full day hunting in the area with a guide. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. If the hunting area does not deliver as intended, it may happen that we switch to a nearby area after the hunting day. Dinner in the tent cabin after the hunting day and planning for the next hunting day. Hunting days: Full-day hunting with guide and hunting dogs, weather permitting. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Overnight at the campsite. Change of hunting area if the hunting ground requires. - Departure day, we pack up the campsite, hopefully with backpacks full of game. Transport back to the home journey (airport, train station or bus station). Hunting seasons: Capercallie, Blackgrouse: 25 Aug - 15 Febr Ptarmigan: 25 Aug - 15 March Fox: 1 Aug - 28 Febr Hare: 1 Sept - 28 Febr Beaver: 1 Oct - 15 May Marten: 1 Sept - 31 March

Wonderful Experiance
I recently had the pleasure of going on a trip with Wande Hunting, and it was truly an exceptional experience. Our host was outstanding—extremely knowledgeable, especially about wildlife, and a true "man of the woods." He thought of everything and ensured every detail was handled, making the trip smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free. One of the highlights of the trip was the incredible hunting dog "Luna". The dog was exceptionally well-trained and worked seamlessly alongside our host, showcasing remarkable skill, precision, and obedience. Watching them work together was a testament to their deep bond and the effort that had gone into training such an extraordinary partner in the field. His expertise in the outdoors was evident in everything he did, from tracking wildlife to sharing fascinating insights about the area. He genuinely goes above and beyond to ensure that everyone has a memorable and fulfilling experience. If you’re looking for a host who truly cares about providing an unforgettable adventure, Wande Vildmark AB is the way to go. Highly recommended!

Amazing experience in Lapland!
Jonas and Elvira were amazing hosts. We had extremely cold weather, but they were very welcoming and friendly, helping make the most of our time. I am looking forward to returning and experiencing more of the beautiful Lapland.
