I have nothing but positive things to say about my hunt and the whole experience with Northern Element Outfitters. Kody was easy to communicate with, his description of the hunt, game, and all aspects was accurate and professional. Kody has a tremendous amount of hunting and guiding knowledge and is quick to share it with his clients and ensure they are successful. Kody knows bears and their behavior if you want a chance at a true giant of the North give Kody a call and he will make sure you have an exceptional hunt. I was fortunate to not only harvest one bear of a lifetime but two. The largest squared in at 7’3” with a 20 1/8” skull, and the second squared 7’ with a 18 5/8” skull. Three hunters in camp and we all had success on bears squaring 7’ or greater. Both bears I harvested had exceptional quality hides, and Kody did a fantastic job skinning, caping, and preparing the hides. You may come to Northern Elements Outfitters as a client, but you will leave feeling like family with good friends and tales to last a lifetime. I have traveled all over the world and I can not recommend Kody and Northern Elements Outfitting enough. If you want to hunt black bears look no further!!!

The warm, family atmosphere and the outstanding cuisine, which never failed to impress, made this place truly unforgettable. The kind and welcoming couple made me fall in love with this place. Far from the noise and distractions of modern life, it offers a unique opportunity to experience Africa’s untouched natural environment and wildlife. The host possesses extensive hunting experience and an exceptional knowledge of the animals and their distribution across the farm. With his guidance and expertise, I was fortunate enough to harvest several trophy animals, which was an incredibly exciting and rewarding experience. I will certainly return in the future to hunt Kudu & Eland again. It was simply a wonderful experience and one that I will always remember.

The Flax Hills property is gorgeous. The accommodations are extremely comfortable and there is a ton of different game to look at. Karl and Viv are some of the best people out there!

Dustin and his team are extremely knowledgeable when it comes to elk hunting! They were able to get me and my fiancé on two beautiful bulls in three days! We spot in stalked my bull for 3 to 4 miles playing a cat and mouse calling game with it until it finally presented a 60 yard shot! It didn’t run more than 50 yards before a piled up. My fiancé‘s was a much shorter spot in stock which presented a 200 yard shot and they dropped right in its tracks. Overall, this was one of the most exciting and amazing hunting experiences I’ve ever had! The whole team showed up and helped pack out both bulls and they even delivered it to the Taxidermist for us and the meat processor! Just went above and beyond for us and we look forward to booking many more hunts with him!

This hunt was wonderful. The outfitter is extremely organized and professional. The guides were excellent. They knew the game and showed great respect for the animals hunted and taken. Game was plentiful and good quality and age class.

The camp is fantastic. Comfortable cabins with all the amenities of home. Great staff and meals. The wild lands of Newfoundland were a great experience for a guy from Arkansas.

Ivan was an exceptional guide—he and Neil were super communicative from the start, so I knew exactly what to expect before, during, and after the hunt. He recommended fantastic lodging and picked me up right on time in the morning. We headed straight to the hunting ground, spotting game animals immediately upon arrival. A quick stalk led to a harvest I was thrilled with. Ivan even "dialed up" some rare spring sunshine! Highly recommend this outfit—I'm already eyeing future hunts with them.

The accommdations were very nice. PH was willing to answer all my questions and I ALWAYS have a lot of them. The animal quality was very good.
